Vail Health, originally founded as the Vail Clinic in 1965, has grown from a single location with 25 physicians to become a comprehensive nonprofit community health care system serving patients worldwide. The system includes a 56-bed Joint Commission-accredited hospital with a Level III Trauma Center, multiple specialty centers including the Shaw Cancer Center and Vail Valley Surgical Center.
